Hmm. I'm not a huge fan of Mori Gladius being 'back'. His death was a significant plot point, and he was a cool character, so having Belzu impersonate him seems really disrespectful. I'll have to wait and see if your plans justify it or not. I can't think of a scenario off the top of my head where it does, though.

good chappie

I'm 100% down with Belzu impersonating Mori. It is absolutely in character for a demon who is all about illusions and deceit to disguise himself as one of the most influential humans in the Mortal plane. Also it has a massive potential for hijinks and him either severely screwing over his temporary allies, or getting outted at the absolute worst time and the potential for collateral is great. Do as you wish, it is your story, but know that I for one am fine with this and welcome "Mori" back into the story with grand applause and great anticipation.

Saphecientia

I for one am a fan of this development , I reallly want to see shenanigans our "amnesiac" mori gets into. And if it changes Belzus' opinion of humans, even better.

Wensber

My main concern is how is Belzu going to "disengage"? If he just dips afterwards that creates an awkward situation. If he heroicly dies again it feels kinda cheap. Something special will need to happen.

Tatiana Saturno

I feel like Belzu is going to use this cover to paint Salvos later in a bad light, then a lot of people will be on his side since he is using his cover as such a liked person. She will probably have a hard time of fulfilling her promise to kill him without people turning against her.

Daniel

I really just hope the focus doesn't get taken away from Salvos too much. It's hard to like Belzu when you know he kinda has to die a horrible death for killing so many people.

Maakolo

It feels like a difficult thing to pull off. Difficult in-world as well as for the writer.

Anime Problem

It works it all depends on your handling Belzu disguised as Mori isn't a bad idea inherently

Delightfully Joyful

God luck, I hope you can take the time for yourself to make it how you want it

Melting Sky

Belzu is The Lord of Lies. If there is anyone that can pull off disguising themselves as someone else it would be the most powerful demon of deceit in existence. Belzu is a master illusionist and mind mage, surely the guy has some sort of mass suggestion-type spell.

MarineDebris

If you thought this would be a good idea way back when, then don't second guess yourself. I just read all 8 books in two weeks because of how amazing they are. I'm with you for whatever you decide. I appreciate the massive amount of hard work you put in. I read/listen to somewhere around 250 books a year, and Salvos jumped to my Top 3 of all time by the second book. Thank you for creating such a freakin awesome character and series.

Belzu just pulled a Loki, as in transforming into Odin for years to trick Asgard
