I like that Amelia is addressing the practicalities of life. N is a local, and it’s obvious that A doesn’t have a way to support herself. She could just ask N if she knows of a way for A to make money without having a class. The situational humor is fun. My favorite part was N opening up to A. The silly characterizations add season things with some lightness and keep the story moving forward, and it’s satisfying to see that there is some meat to the characters underneath, that they have history and motivations.
