I think I mostly feel fine about the implied levels of angst/pain/etc coming for us in the next chapters bc you’ve done SUCH a good job of making the timeline so impenetrable (to me at least) that I can just fixate on the little happy bubble timestamps you’re providing. It feels like the angst and love are happening at the same time in my brain which is so so so so good and interesting to me

i can NOT get all of my thoughts out i need my own fast food bag. whenever we learn something new i have to go back and contextualize everything with the new information. and now all the times a1 made a move on a2 and he brushed it off. a2 got all blushy and kept walking away. friends my ass married a1 was making moves on him after it probably hurt a2 to find him for eden. i feel sick all over again and now i hate a1.

i (and emily lol beloved paper bag mate) have wondered if even a small part of a1 marrying eden is him trying to help a2 live a normal life. one of the things a1 yearns for more than anything else is the apple pie life right? wife 2.5 kids white picket fence and a house….. and he also wants that “normal” happy life for a2. like i think a1 blames himself for keeping a2 from his own chance at a typical life and by marrying eden even though they (our boys) know they love each other a1 is forcing this degree of separation to encourage a2 to make his own happy life. and now that a1 has tried to set this boundary a2 respects it even harder but now a1 is like “wait fuck i love you i need you” and a2 is like “you literally asked for this jesus what do you mean?” but this is one of the squished soggy fries in the bottom of the bag so idk
