You really had no idea, did you? I almost feel sorry for you—almost. All this time, lying next to her, kissing her, trusting her… and she never told you what she is. Once a month, like clockwork, your girlfriend stops being human and the beast inside lets itself out. Not a wolf, not a vampire—something far lower.

Look at her. The change has her on all fours now, shoulders rolling with muscle, bones popping and reshaping until her arms don’t even end in hands anymore. Hooves slam into the floor, heavy and useless for anything but stomping. That face you loved is gone, pulled forward into a grotesque snout, nostrils stretched wide and glistening, flaring with every ragged breath, twitching and snorting like she already belongs in the stable.

Her hair spills down in a mane. It hangs over eyes that are wide and rolling, full of that dumb panic a farm animal can show. Her ears flick back, her lips tremble and curl, and what comes out isn’t speech anymore—just heavy, guttural sounds dragged through her thickening throat.

This isn’t some curse you can break, trust me, she’s tried everything. And now that you know what she is… Now that you’ve seen her like this, will you stay? Or will you run away like every other boyfriend she’s had. Nobody else could stand to be with her after seeing her half transformed face, groaning and snorting and drooling—literal nightmare fuel for most. But, maybe you’ll be the one. Maybe you’re actually turned on by this. You are, aren’t you?

You’re both freaks.
