To answer your question, ''The final day'' is indeed a medley of multiple songs. The theme you recognized at the start there was ''Ultima'' while other themes in there are ''Heroes'', ''The Worms Tail'' and ''Invincible'', which was the theme at the end that you also recognized. All of these are themes of Final bosses for each expansion of FF14 which is really supposed to be a reminder for the players what they've been through to finally get there and they all are held nicely together by the final fantasy theme, which is also interwoven in the track.
