I'm going to need a day to recover. Lol!

I shot 94, which is a decent round for me given how little I play and it was the 2nd round of the year.

It was sunny almost all day and only became overcast around the last 3 holes. There was a slight breeze that was cool anytime we were out of the trees, so that felt nice and kept the bugs away. It was 27 C which is 80 F.

The drive down is about an hour fifteen. That is fairly pretty too and follows the coast. We relaxed on some benches behind the 18th green after the round and sipped a few beers - and clapped at any good shots from the other golfers (all of whom laughed at having an "audience").

Then we went to Ozzy's for dinner afterwards. It's a local hot spot. It's literally a white shack that serves seafood. The only seating are outdoor picnic benches. The 2-piece fish and chips is 2 pieces of battered haddock that are each bigger than my hand. And they are mostly fish with very little batter. They are gigantic!

Then I nearly fell asleep on the hour and a half drive back, which isn't surprising. Lol!

It was a really nice day, but it wore me right out. I slept like a log and feel pretty good today, but I am lagging when it comes to work. So no WIP images today. I will post something tomorrow. :)

Have a great week! :D

I'm more than happy with bogey golf these days! You're right there! Too hot for me to play a round this time if year, highs in the mid to high 40s.

My best handicap was 12 and that was way back when I was a junior. So yes, bogey golf when I don't even play once a year is pretty darn good. :) And yeah, 40 is way too hot. Lol! I can maybe do up to the mid 30s? Maybe... :P

I'm in the same boat these days I'm happy if I can hit bogey golf, gone are the days of trying for scratch and now are the days of just enjoying the company.

Mr. Phoenyxx

I totally agree. It's all about enjoying the time with friends. :)

Good to hear that you enjoyed your day out. Rest and recover. Take care of yourself and post when you can.
