So I am doing something a little different today. Usually I post some Work-In-Progress images for the Stacked and Bulging Bazooms patrons, but today I wanted to share something with everybody.

Just yesterday I discovered something new for Daz Studio, but apparently it's been around for months. I am not sure how I missed it.

Anyway, apparently there is a Plug-in for Daz Studio that let's you do "AI Renders". It's built by Dreamlight, which is a creator that has made some fantastic content for Daz Studio over the years. Now they have created this thing, and it looks quite exciting to me.

I know AI gets a lot of hate and criticism, but please take a quick look at this short video:

As you may know, I have experimented with taking some of my characters and images and retouching or converting them to AI. This was never intended to replace my normal content, but to supplement it with additional stuff that would be quick and efficient to generate.

So far the time investment to achieve what I was hoping for was quite significant. Once the initial investment was done, however, then you might get quite a bit out of it. In short, it takes a lot to create your own AI model. Or it does for me anyway. :P

This AIRE might offer me the best of both worlds. I could load any of my models into Daz, setup the scene, and let AI do its work. Again, this isn't intended to replace my normal stuff, but it might be a better way to do pinups and generate additional/supplemental content.

Let me know your thoughts!

It is quite an expensive plug-in, and it does require a local installation of Comfy UI (which might be the most difficult part for me).

Honestly, I can see the appeal, and so long as it neither completely replaces your current content and that you identify what’s made with ai assistance (more so for transparency’s sake), I personally don’t have a problem with it.

Not a fan, personally. Your work has a specific vibe that I instantly know its yours -- its why I subscribed to your content. Looking at the video that's posted, I can see how it would be tempting, but you're basically removing what I would consider your artistic touch for just AI marketed "realism." I'd rather you retain your artistic signature even for your side/supplemental content. I understand manual work takes longer, but I'm okay with the speed at which you release content, even if it meant you needed to slow down. Quality >>> quantity for me.

My only real quality concern after watching that video is that, even in a video to push the product it seemed to make substantial changes to facial expressions. I guess it is more like over-painting a flat image rather than applying textures to the 3D models but I don't know enough about these kinds of things to make a determination there. But if you think it can do what you need it to, then have at it!

My understanding is that it would be very similar to rendering the image as normal, then loading it in Comfy UI, and asking the AI to alter the image or touch it up. The plugin just saves you a step or two.

Mr. Phoenyxx

Thank you! That is really valuable feedback. :)

PlasticPrincessEmily

Nooo please don't start using AI for your main art. Your actual 3D work and style are really nice and unique, please don't change it

SitriAbyss

I will be curious to see how it turns out :)

Mr. Phoenyxx

Don't worry. AI isn't replacing anything. :)

Mr. Phoenyxx

It was always intended as potentially extra content. Not to replace anything that I am currently doing. :)

SitriAbyss

Yeah... I can understand that

Mr. Phoenyxx

I mean... I think it's a reasonable price, but that's still a lot for something I might not even use.

I do not have entirely positive feelings about your idea regarding AI use in your project because you have something unique in your work that attracts people, and this unique trait may be lost if you use AI. I find your work uploaded for Stacked and Bulging Bazooms patronage more appealing.

SitriAbyss

Yeah, I can relate to that.

Just as I encountered your artwork for the first time with Bimbo Cheerleader while you were still active on your deviantart account, your distinctive artistic style, which has become a hallmark of all your creations, captivated me then, and continues to attract me even now.

Mr. Phoenyxx

Thank you! That is really nice of you to say. :)
