This episode was so fustrating haha also i agree, the editing to remove min-gwi's character was so awkward

ok i’m gonna apologize in advance for this longass comment LOL. so i wanted to get a few opinions out there in regards to some things you’ve mentioned not only in this episode but just in general. first of all personally i’m not really the biggest fan of do-hyeok although he is the sweetest soul, i feel like especially this episode he didn’t give nabi much space when she clearly needed her own time to clear things up on her own. and even when she confessed to him saying she doesn’t think she can have a good relationship literally the next morning he tells her he isn’t gonna leave her alone when she’s clearly not in the right headspace to deal with him. do-hyeok knows pretty well that she’s confused with jae-eon and instead of allowing her deal with her feelings first he’s pushing his own really selfishly down her throat (in my opinion.) i know many people love him for being kind and although i do agree he’s just personally, for me, a LOT to deal with. idk how she does it lol. Also about Ji-wan i do understand the frustration that she was being annoying towards Sol and all that but tbh as a bi person it took a LOT of thinking and self acceptance to get to the point where I was ok with liking girls. it’s definitely a very confusing period for her bc she’s clearly never sincerely thought about Sol in that way even if she’s felt those feelings. Ji-wan hasn’t reflected as of yet on there being a possibility that she’s into girls so it must be super hard for her too. And lastly regarding Jae-eon!!! Personally i really really feel sorry for his character and obviously he has been toxic and manipulative but i think hes just very….. confused and lost. he’s been playing hook-ups for probably his entire “dating” life so he doesn’t know what this attachment he feels towards Nabi is. Not saying that they should end up together bc to be honest i don’t think either of the two males suit her I just really hope he grows out of that and there’s some development and HOPEFULLY they won’t do a complete 360 on his character in the last episode and let him either 1. stay the way he is and not end up with Nabi or 2. get another season for character growth. Sorry for the long comment i had to get this off my chest aaaaaaa

I definitely think you are being a bit too hard on Jiwan. I'm not gonna write an entire essay in the comments here but I recommend reading this thread https://twitter.com/jeongyeonnation/status/1424197272980496384 and other stuff on twitter about Jiwan's feelings/actions. It makes 100% sense and I don't think some of the criticism she gets is fair. This doesn't even go into the fact that they live in a very heteronormative and homophobic society as well. The fact that their communication is better than most other relationships in the show despite this is honestly commendable

Also a sidenote; the translation while Jiwan is backhugging Sol is not accurate. She doesn't say she's not sure how she feels. She implies she's sure about her feelings for Sol, but that she doesn't know what to do about them. She is being honest

I 1000% don't judge or fault ji wan for not clear on her feelings for sol because as you said (and as the thread you sent too, hehe thanks for sending it as well it was interesting to read) it's a very hard thing, she's confused about the boundaries AND it's a heteronormative society as well. The only thing I don't like about ji wan is that she acts childish at times, but that's not a judgement reserved to ji wan- if any other character did the same kind of actions i'd have the same reaction :") the bubbliness-type of personality is super cute till it's not and that's the way i saw ji wan at times this episode- not as a person who's not brave or not sharing/communicating well but sometimes she acts very bubbly whilst knowing the other person is not in a good mood and that was what annoyed me

hihihiii ofc omg rant all you want hahahaha i love it!! 1. for do hyeok, now that the episode has finished and i've had time to think of it more- i agree- He's A LOT- i don't understand how he's this dedicated or motivated towards nabi tbh- 2. i 100% agree that it's SUCH a difficult and confusing time for ji wan and sol- i completely understand why ji wan is so conflicted about what she's feeling (thank you for explaining your perspective as someone who is bi btw) the only thing i don't like about ji wan is that she sometimes acts bubbly around sol when she KNOWS sol isn't in a good mood, but besides that- i didn't expect them to have a heart-to-heart conversation save for the last episode so i was actually shocked their conversation went this deep in today's episode 3. i agree tbh- i don't think either of them suit her, and i completely understand how jae eon's trying to change but that it's difficult- however like you said i don't agree with either of them for nabi :") i would go with option 2-another season for character growth hahahaha

girl just wait until you see episode 9, I was in literal shock at the ending ....

I honestly think Do-hyeok is too desperate and clingy. If he "wins" someone over just by hanging around them all the time it's going to be a bit forced. As for Jae-eon, I think he's being sincere, he just feels confused cause he never felt that...maybe it's because of the lack of his parents' love. He's starting to open up and understand what he feels. But I sincerely hope Nabi ends up alone, it's best for her. Or at least that she and Jae-eon start dating, but after a few years away from each other.
