I have a theory about the mystery of the five years Du-Sik disappeared. I think he was married and had a kid but they died. Hence why he has those nightmares and sees a counselor. The family photo he looked at could be of them and the black suit they had showed him throwing out in a previous ep could be his funeral suit. Or I could be completely wrong and the latest episodes will debunk this lol

It really could be tbh I would explain why we don't see the father on the picture. My theory was more dark then yours lol. It was that the dad killed the mother in front of Du-sik but it's less possible because he would have been traumatize since he was a kid.
