Keanu lands the role of a lifetime! Meanwhile Lawbreakers is back? Nintendo makes an enemy out of my daughter, Fallout 4 gets fixed after all these years, and a man gets arrested for hacking Pokemon games. Also: Clicker Arena isn’t enough of a clicker to be called a clicker and people are unhappy about it! Cheech & Chong Watch 2024 continues on this week’s installment of The Jeff Gerstmann Show Hosted By Jeff Gerstmann!

(I've reuploaded this with some changes to the overall sound, should sound better than it did earlier this afternoon!)

Still doesn't sound right through Patreon web player. Sorry. Android & Podcast Addict, it's less hot probably not clipping anymore, but does sound weird.

It sounds a bit off in the Patreon app. It’s lightly clipping throughout so it has the effect of either being too compressed or the mic gain was slightly too high, but I’m confident neither of those were true in the recording. I’m listening on a pair of standard AirPods. Hope this helps!

Jeremy Geros

Haven’t noticed the sound being bad until this episode. Listening on downcast on iOS with AirPods

Jorge S

Same for me, first episode with high mic gain sound. Listening in car and airpods pros.

I think a video or stream where you checked in on the current states of Fallout games would be really cool. And FWIW, Fallout 4 already runs great on Steam Deck, despite its lack of 'verified' status. I think the only reason it's not verified by Valve is because it has a launcher. When Skyrim got verified, it seems like they just...removed the launcher, lol. Nothing else really changed. Probably what they'll do with Fallout 4, as well.

In case this is helpful: This is the first episode that I’ve noticed bad audio. Listening via Overcast

I never was into Rick Ross but that recent diss was better than most recently in that beef because man is it hilarious.

Eric S.

This is the first episode I've noticed audio issues. Great show though!

Tom Grundy

This is also the first episode I’ve experienced the audio being clipping / sounding blown out. Still a great ep! Listening on PocketCasts.

MERCS in the arcade had a rad flamethrower

Sound isn’t great as everyone else said. But it makes me feel like Jeff is embracing that am radio energy. Still love it. Jeff is still a threat.
