The Xbox Game Pass changes are really weird to me. So convoluted and reeks of desperation to claw back revenue. I'd love to know if the presence and prevalence of subscription services (Xbox Game Pass, Google Play Pass, Amazon Prime Gaming, Humble Choice) has negatively impacted product perception to such an extent that it has caused users to devalue games and just not want to buy games outright anymore? Anecdotally I know it has for me but I wonder if that has hit the general game buying public versus folks like us that listen to gaming podcasts.

As a huge Banjo Kazooie fan, 1 is the better game. Tooie is cool and has a lot of fun stuff, but 1 is just a much tighter experience overall. Was shocked to hear Jeff say he liked it , for no reason other than he usually hates all my favorite childhood games
