I haven't burned a ton of CD-i discs yet but now that the console is working I figured I'd mess with a little bit and play Laser Lords. I had completely forgotten what Laser Lords was, but it all came rushing back during that intro. First time playing it, but I've seen the cutscenes online. I don't think I realized that was a CD-i game all this time, or else I would've looked at it way sooner.

Either way, Laser Lords is a beautiful mess. I'm hoping that someone starts selling an ODE for the CD-i in the near future, I really don't want to have to be responsible for a big spindle full of burned discs. God, I don't think I've done that since I first bought my PC Engine Duo-R off of eBay many, many years ago.

Damn that Laser Lords was something else. Those close-up character faces reminded of Mr. Bill sketches from SNL.
