Yeah as someone with a full time job who enjoys playing lots of different games, i simply don't have time for a game like monster hunter

Skyrim is fine but i don't get why so many people laude it as like, the greatest game of all time. Skyrim has fun systems but its such a shallow world, exploring is boring and un-rewarding because if you level enchanting you'll literally never find new gear worth using, most of the shouts are garbage and you get arguably the most fun one at the start of the game, and all the dungeons feel incredibly samey and reuse the same 0 iq puzzle. Exploration just feels unrewarding from all angles. The most memorable thing that happened in a quest for me was that the thieves quest completely broke and I was on console so I was totally fucked. I put hundreds of hours into that game and could barely tell you vaguely what happens in a couple quests. Skyrim just is NOT as remarkable as people make it out to be. The fact that people still yearn for it and compare everything to it is crazy to me. Imagine someone talking about Friends like it was the pinnacle of television achievement, and comparing every show they watch to it. Skyrim is like the popcorn of gaming. Its fine, it passes the time, but if you say the best meal you've ever had was popcorn, you're crazy. Avowed isn't the greatest game ever by any means, but in my book it beats skyrim in nearly every way. The only thing skyim has on it is more robust systems to play around with

Avowed is woke because it has an equal number of men and women which feels weird to dumbasses, and it also has gay rep which is bad, gay people aren't real!!!
