Some folks—including professional wrestler, Jeff Jarrett—have come together to revive the Acclaim name as an indie publisher. Weird! Also: Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 becomes official, PSVR2 gets a price cut, and a new Terminator game looks pretty cool! Plus your emails!

Hell yeah, congrats on those blazing fast upload speeds. As someone more or less still stuck on DSL I dream of having a fraction of what fiber provides.

I imagine a lot of casual GTA V players might actually be happy about switching to a game that doesn't have a ton of people who have access to comically overpowered shit. I don't foresee them having any serious issue getting people to migrate to the new game, provided its a better experience than GTA V online was at launch. I never enjoyed GTA online period because it feels like such a stingy experience, but at launch it was extra boring. They should probably find some ways to lean into the weird RP nonsense too. GTA online is way too fucking grindy to get to the fun parts, but I don't see that changing in a GTA 6, thats how they make their money, by making the game suck ass to play if you don't pay. Applying their dumbass paying for ammo system to any other game really highlights how miserable that shit is. Can you imagine if Helldivers made you pay for every supply drop, every grenade, every bullet, every stratagem? God awful system.

I just want borderlands 4 to let me spend more time shooting bandits, and less time listening to the reddit comedy hour

Venture beat and Dean Takahashi are just the corporate mouthpieces you need if you want to relaunch your "cherished brand" with absolutely zero fact checking of the claims you are making.
