The Last Nintendo Switch Nintendo Direct (Patreon)

Hey, I needed to watch this Nintendo Direct before the podcast, so I figured why not record it? Here's me watching this thing.

It's funny, though I guess not a huge surprise, that they saved the best for last. A new Rhythm Heaven is the game I thought we'd never get due to Tsunku's health issues. A new Tomodachi Life is also great news, though if I'm being honest, I ended up playing the previous one for about three weeks before forgetting it existed. I want to say that no one else around me was playing it, which limited things a little bit? But maybe something else came out that ended up dominating my time, hard to say.

Metroid looks like a new Metroid Prime, which is fine. Kinda weird that it took so long but between Namco's version of the game getting canned and Nintendo's long-running lack of enthusiasm about the franchise, I guess I'm not shocked that we're just now seeing it. I'd say I'm more interested to see if we get a second look at that game tomorrow, running with mouse support or something.
