Yesterday was my birthday and I decided to do a longer than normal stream but didn't have time to plan what the stream was actually going to be about and whoops I played like four hours of Haze. Weird how that happens. Guess I'll need to stream the rest of it at some point, I'm most of the way through it now! BOOSH!!!!

Haze is _fine_. Not good maybe but interesting nonetheless.

Moments that stood out to me in my playthrough was the tank you have to fight on a bridge and a weird mine section on the way up towards the observatory.

I'm glad you played this and was super surprised to see it pop up on my video feed. I remember this game coming out when I was a teenager and seeing a lot of hype for it in magazines but I never ended up playing it but it is a game that has stuck in my mind for some reason. I had never seen actual footage of the game until now lol and your comments on the squad characters at the beginning being proto-manosphere are on point, I wasn't expecting that (oh and the Prager-U reference was pretty damn funny). I remember the ps3 being a weird place for fps games back then too. I really wanted to like the Resistance games for instance but never got into them. The idea Haze isn't that bad actually, realizing you're on the bad guy's side etc. but the way they handled it in the playthrough at least was so clumsy and amateurly written. Also I was reminded that this was the studio behind Timesplitters 2 which was a childhood favorite of mine. It lacks all of the charm and fun of those games and then some. oh also happy bday :)
