As I play my way through Haze I have to say that I'm finding it to be a really interesting specimen from an era that isn't actually that far gone. I say it a lot, but modern gaming's roots were really planted on the Xbox 360 and PS3. That said, Haze feels... old. It's easy to see why, really, it's a first-person shooter that was in development around the same time as Halo 3 and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Those two games--one more than the other, if we're being honest--would set new standards for console shooters. Gaming was different after those games were released.

The Haze campaign takes a turn for the worse in this second installment, but I'll leave you to find that out for yourselves in the attached video. I'll finish up this campaign as soon as I can, for some reason it's gnawing a little hole in my brain and I need to get it done. Maybe I'll have a little more to say about it once the campaign is complete.

Really enjoy seeing you revisit weird/middling/forgotten games from the PS3 and PS4 generations (Haze, THPS5).
