This week the podcast got broken into two parts because the Gamescom Opening Night Live stream happened in the middle of it! So let’s start with some talk about Battlefield 6’s beta and my time with Drag x Drive, then we’ll come back and talk about Call of Duty Black Ops 7, Skate’s rotating soundtrack, Resident Evil Requiem, Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, all these free-to-play-looking games that got announced and immediately forgotten, the state of Louisiana’s lawsuit against Roblox, New Jersey’s lawsuit against Discord, and more!

Not going to lie, I wasn't paying much attention listening while at work, and AI Jeff through me off so much lol. I had to rewind to find out wtf was going on.

Been such a fan of PSVR2. Works great, feels great, quick to throw on, beautiful displays, but big caveat ... I only really ever play cockpit games with it. So I'm sitting, and the tether is a total non-issue. Gran Turismo 7 is just fucking incredible with it though, and honestly I immediately got so much better at it being able to naturally see into the turns. It also helps that GT7 doesn't use the VR controllers, so I don't have to fuss with changing their sync between PS5 & PC. On my PC, it's wonderful for Star Wars Squadrons, House of the Dying Sun, Sublevel Zero, BallisticNG, & modern IL-2 Sturmovik. DCS looks incredible, but generally I can't handle modern controls in VR yet. Also: porn. (Skybox VR Video Player.)
