They made a Fall Guys clone and filled it full of bad-looking versions of Sonic characters. Then they slapped a bunch of pretty expensive prices on all the skins. I honestly can not tell you what drove me to be interested in this thing at all, but it's out today and I guess I just had to know. So here's me playing some of that, in case you want to know, as well!

But here's the short version, in case you want to know but don't want to spend an hour watching it: Yeah, don't waste your time with it.

You Probably Don't Need to Play Sonic Rumble

The idea of a Sonic-themed Fall Guys ripoff coming out in late 2025 seems insane. Like what, was this three years late? Anyway, I've seen a lot of complaints about the monetization in this free-to-play thing, but in my hands-on testing, the actual problem here seems to be that the game is bad? There, maybe just don't watch the video, I think you get the point, OK?
