Remember when we were kids and there was that 1980’s Circuit City commercial where the kids brings in an ad that showed his Walkman at a cheaper price when he bought it the previous week and the old man gives the kids the difference? Amazon should do that for you on the TV.

If someone wants to make a game about how we live in a society, and it's a blunt metaphor for who gets classified as what and when, I'm fine with that as long as it's well-executed. I'm not saying "let the assholes win and let subtlety die," but I'm saying subtlety can also be done badly and doesn't have to be inherently better than blunt directness. The stuff with the storefront also feels like some MPAA-levels of "we find it personally offensive, we don't have to tell you why" morality policing that ain't great but that's been going on for years and people seem to only just now be noticing.
