I moved countries at the "wrong time" and sold my pc and consoles just before the ram crisis. Now I've got no idea what to do and I'm just playing retro games in Retroarch on my phone and it feels weird not playing new games. PS5 and Switch 2 don't seem like any sort of value proposition with how few games they have coming up compared to how expensive the consoles are now and how expensive the games have become. Also PS5 should be winding down now but has gone up $100, it doesn't instill excitement. PC would actually be the best bet if it wasn't for the price increases

When I bought my Switch 2, I don’t know if I hit a button wrong or what, but there was no option to just “forget” my Switch 1…and I hadn’t played it in months, so I had to go fish it out, charge it, get it back on my WiFi and update it. All because I guess they’re terrified I’ll just keep a console offline forever? But somehow every other platform owner has figured that out. Pretty standard Nintendo stuff.

I played a couple rounds of marathon on the portal. It seemed ok. I’m also probably an idiot and I didn’t bring any gear in. Not my preferred way to play.
