I opened up my switch 1 pro controller the week tetris 99 came out and put a thin bit of cardboard under the dpad, the issue doesn't go away completely, but it makes it happen way less often

I'm off work this week so I bought lord of hatred. I started a new character even though I have an old one to try out the warlock / I figured I'd have the same skill issues with my old druid character since I haven't played since the game came out. You start at level 1 and I kinda wish they fast tracked you to at least 60

I know this completely sidesteps the “I want to play -my- character, god damnit” thing, but for what it’s worth I think the new character experience in Lord of Hatred is great. Starting at level 1 but at the new content means you get that one skill point at a time experience without having to redo stuff you did 3 years ago. ALSO - you don’t need a build guide. There aren’t bad choices.

Coming back here to say I rolled credits on lord of hatred yesterday, frankly I'd recommend just rolling a new Warlock, the class is really fun to play. The story was pretty decent and ended in a satisfying way, not sure if I'll do post game / seasonal stuff. I just did a dread claws build I found online since I was having way too much choice paralysis. My main is a druid and I went in there for a bit to see the reworked skill tree, but I was pretty lost at what my build was / what all the druid stuff does so he'll probably now be stuck somewhere in the previous dlc's storyline for the rest of time lol
