I know I'm a dick and in the minority here but I think this is the most excited I've been about the future of Xbox in a long time. Time will tell how this all plays out.

I think they should just have an external drive and make physical more expensive than digital. I really wonder how many people who complain right now would actually put their money where their mouths are and buy discs if Sony changes their minds, it feels like they just want the option to not buy discs while the physical sales keep declining year over year.

When I started playing starfield and got to the first town and it didn't have a map I knew that game was going to be fucked since it wasn't made for people. I don't care if the star system is unmapped how the fuck would the people that made a town not have a fucking map that they send to visitors to know where the shops are. Also I'm still baffled by the play testing. Did everyone on their teams go wow you can fly around and land on planets, this is incredible and not think for a second stuff to do should be on those planets? Like even if No Man's Sky never existed the starfield exploration experience would've been a dissapointment.

Not saying every planet should have stuff, that's not realistic (in both senses of the word), but they could've done way better.

I think SteamOS releasing for Android and getting It to work with NVIDIA will go a long way with getting people over on PC. I saw that Razer is testing a version of their 18in laptop with 290HX/5090 specs that comes installed with SteamOS from the factory and I hope this becomes an option in the near future from multiple prebuilt distributers.

I've owned every Sony console and handheld when they were new. Even PSTV and the Portal. I'll happily pay $1000 to $1500 for a PS6 but not if my massive collection of PS4 and PS5 discs die with it. I'm 45. I'm too old for this shit. I have more games then I'll ever be able to play. Maybe Sony is doing me a favor.
