A fascinating mix of games got ranked this week, here's the latest from the Nintendo 64 laboratory. Wouldn't have expected a late-90s hockey game to hold up as well as it did, but hey, surprises are what makes this thing so much fun and this episode has... some surprises. For me, I mean. I was surprised. See you Star Jugglers next week!

Thank you for your dedication to the science. I have not encountered anything as unhinged as Starshot in the video game sphere since the time I heard a love letter to Marin in Link’s Awakening read live on a podcast. Incredible

Crazy nostalgia hit seeing Starshot. I also realised I never got past that first level as a kid. It was a weird game because I could complete other games okay, and I could never crack Starshot. It was colourful, fun looking characters. It felt like I should have had fun with it. But it was always a "Let's give this another shot" game as a kid before bouncing off it after half an hour. At least now I realise it was the games fault instead of mine scientifically speaking.

Platformer music not terrible. Getting me through work as background music
