Hey y'all! Just firming up some plans over and wanted to let everyone know when the next streams will be. All times are Pacific Daylight Time because math is hard.

June 9, 11AM - Summer Game Fest
June 12, 10AM - Xbox Bethesda Thing
June 12, 12:30PM - PC Gaming Show
June 13, 3PM - Capcom Showcase
June 14, Time TBA - Our Weekly Podcast!

It'll be on Twitch! https://twitch.tv/jeffgerstmann/

In other news, I'm interested in trying out either Stream Yard or Restream as a method of getting the livestreams onto both Twitch and YouTube, but I probably won't have time to really dig into that until next week. Today I'm returning a zillion emails and attempting to book some appointments to head into Los Angeles and see some Actual Unreleased Video Games! I bought a standalone capture device (the Elgato 4K60S+, in case you're curious) in case there are any opportunities for me to grab some footage while I'm there, so with any luck there'll be an additional video or two of me going over what I saw. If no video opportunities are available, I'll probably just cover it on the podcast.

Hmm... I should probably test out that Elgato before it bring it out into the field and make sure I know how to use it.

The podcast should now be available on most podcast directories. Google, for whatever reason, is taking forever. Of course, if you're signed up here at Patreon, you also have the option for an ad-free feed of the main show.

If you're looking for the YouTube channel, it's right here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCR9R2ARN74dCebn1kv06UhA

The podcast also has a website with an RSS link and links to some of the various podcast directories, if you're interested. That's here: https://jeffgerstmann.simplecast.com/

I guess I should probably set up some kind of landing page somewhere that has all these links in one place for people so I don't have to keep digging them up every time I want people to know where stuff is at. I'll add it to the list! Thanks for being here.

Mulletman

I think there’s a way to pin a post on patreon, so you can probably pin a post with the important links somehow

Oh no, he should start using that crazy time he likes to use for all his shows. I forget the name, but that should be the only format.

Sean Hoke

Swatch internet time, I'd be completely on board for exclusively using that for this community.

Joshua Weston

I'm here for Swatch Internet Time

Jeff, it’s great seeing you go solo. For years your “Home Game” and assorted at-home streams (please build that shed studio and rename “Garage Talk”accordingly!) have given me a lot of pleasure. Your passion for the retro stuff is unparalleled, and it’s been a long, cool breeze in this era of “YT gaming personality” insanity.

Hi Jeff - It warms my heart seeing you love your job again, chaos and all. Perhaps you could consider adding talking over the Devolver presentation to the schedule?

Jeff Gerstmann

Hi, Michelle! The Devolver thing is always weird to talk over because it's so jokey. Telling jokes over someone else's jokes just kinda defeats the purpose. I'll probably try to watch it when I can and talk about it during the podcast on Tuesday.

Anonymous

Fair enough, that makes a lot of sense. I just liked the idea of giggling along with you at the madness of it all - their presentations are always a blast and I honestly can't get enough of Happy-and-Slightly-Insane Jeff this week. Also I'm sure you need time to get things figured out before your trek to the shows. Drive safe! <3

Sabra

You rock Jeff, you're the only person I'd actually patronage :)

Never been so happy to setup a new Patreon subscription. Best of luck good sir!

I also enjoy patronizing Jeff. That's all I have to say.

Team Jeff. All in. :)

Any particular guests you’ve got planned or have on a wish list for the future? Or is it still too early for that kinda planning?

Mike Luna

Only thing I humbly request is that someday (maybe not this year obviously) in the future, you and Phil Spencer resume your once a year talks. Really enjoyed you two talking about the industry at large (and of course, Xbox things).

Roberto Cruz

Absolutely love those interviews. I found myself rewatching them with the absence of in-person events.

BlindRiot

Way to break the chains my man!! All the best is coming your way.

Lonnie

I’m actually glad and happy to support you. I had lost interest and stopped supporting giantbomb a few months ago as I wasn’t a fan of where it had gone. Happy to support you, and wish you the best of luck for the future.
