It's been so long since John Riccitiello has come up on a podcast that I practically forgot how to spell his name! But here we are, and now I remember exactly where all the I's go. Let's talk about Unity and Escape Academy and Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium and Warframe... and Soulframe??? Also: Bay Area Hip-Hop and Ganbare Neo Poke-Kun, the perfect match!

(No music breaks at the ad stops this week, I'll try to get those in next week!)

Let's be honest: the story behind both Frozen movies are a mess. The first film was in development hell for like 70 years and then the movie came together in months. They're lucky the songs are as decent as they are.

IMO there’s a big difference between people not wanting a game to need a patch to function at launch and not wanting a game to receive content through patches, and felt that particular tangent was a bit… odd. Especially coming from someone who famously decried the launch state of games such as Fallout 4 and AC Unity. It felt like an intentionally obtuse position, to try to tie that wide swathe of people together, as though someone who wants a game to be functional “out of the box”, whatever that actually means today, never wants it to become a bigger, fuller, better experience. Felt disingenuous in a way I’m not used to from you.

Even so they both tap in to my countries history, espescially the second one, in a way that strikes a chord. We didn't treat the Sami's to well

I had no clue about that. That adds a more interesting layer to things. Thanks

Misread Ricitiello as Ricciardi. You should get John Ricciardi and Mark Mac D on here sometime. Old heads spitting new truths. Love the new intro btw
