Hey all! Just over here working on some audio editing and thought I'd shoot you an update while I wait for some files to process. Glenn and I recorded the first proper episode of Game Boyz II Men today. It was fun and it ended up going a lot longer than I initially thought it would. I'm currently cleaning up a couple of spots where the call dropped and leveling the audio and I'm hoping to have it ready to post for $10 Patrons and up on Wednesday of this week. I'm going going to type "or Thursday" here in case something goes wrong, but so far, so good!
The Jeff Gerstmann Show--a weekly podcast about the lovely world of video games and how we interact with them and each other--will happen tomorrow morning, as usual, at 10AM PDT. I'll (of course) be talking about this new NFL Blitz cabinet that Arcade1up just announced along with some of the THQ Nordic announcements, the Rumbleverse launch, a little Rollerdrome... you know, video game stuff. Also: your emails! Send 'em in, I usually take one last pass in the morning before going live.
Wednesday I'll be streaming, again at 10AM PDT. This seems like a good spot to show off a little Rollerdrome, but I also want to try Arcade Paradise, which sounds like my kind of thing. I haven't had time to try it yet. We'll dip into a smattering of recent releases!
Friday! 10AM PDT! A stream! I'm not sure if this will be Dragon's Dogma Part 6 or something else. Some folks were asking about a Rumbleverse stream, but the matchmaking is still in flux and I've had trouble getting it running reliably on PC, so that's probably a game for another day. I have a few other things I want to check out, so let's make that decision a bit later in the week.
OK, I somehow spaced out and navigated away from this page without posting the actual post, so I'm going to hit post now before I forget again. Shout out to Patreon for having a draft system in place and shout out to me for typing this directly into the website instead of creating a local copy and pasting it in. Old habits die hard, as they say.
See ya soon!
