Here's the "GameScent" (Patreon)

We got to talking in the Discord on Tuesday, not long after this thing got announced. Upon discovering that the GameScent was available right now and could be overnighted to me for a mere $150, I decided to take some Patreon funds and invest them in this hot, new item... mostly because there was just enough curiosity around it that I felt like I should put it through its paces. Last night... I did just that.

The GameScent is some kind of essential oil diffuser that hooks up to  your game's audio and then emits smells like "gunfire" or "forest" or  "explosion" or "racing." Let's set it up and run it through a few games  like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, Minecraft, 50 Cent: Blood on the  Sand, and... Balatro? Sure, why not. 

They tout it as being powered by "AI," which as far as I can tell means that they are taking the audio from your game (or any other audio source, really) and uploading it to a server for off-site processing. If the cloud decides that it hear a gunshot, it sends the signal back to your diffuser to pump out a little bit of the "gunfire" scent.

Not to spoil the "review" part of this review, but I found this thing to be pretty gross.
