I think it should be an initiation ritual, where they are dressed in black and are instructed by one of the veteran girls that since they are the new meat, they have to remain stoic no matter what is done to them, to show that they can handle joining the ranks. So they have to stand there, motionless while the veterans do things to them like undress them like pulling down their pants and commenting on their undies and trying to tickle them
