Nixie – Small fey, any alignment (Patreon)

Roaring streams, foggy bogs, deep lakes or mysterious ponds – the nixie reigns over all places shaped and covered by water. Below the surface it lurks and listens. It hears the quarrels of the creatures from above and watches as they step close. With sincere kindness, the nixie welcomes them to its calm realm; with a false smile, it defends its dark domain. A nixie can be anything – some are wrathful spirits luring land-dwellers into their wet graves, others are benevolent guardians of sacred currents and the aquatic life that surrounds them, a few are purely villainous beings longing for the world to drown…

To celebrate The Dragons Vault's freshly launched Kickstarter Faerie: A Realm Wanderer's Guide, I made this Nixie! Be sure to check out the campaign over here!

"Get lost in the distant realm of Faerie, a brutal 5e campaign setting of blood, iron and fey, inspired by the original British Faerie Folklore and medieval myth!"
