Quasilisk – Tiny monstrosity, unaligned (Patreon)

Easily mistaken for a rat on the first glimpse, the quasilisk sneaks through well hidden places such as sewers, catacombs or abandoned wings of age-old dungeons. Having the power to turn similar-sized creatures to stone and partially petrify larger enemies, this feisty critter might pose a serious threat if approached too carelessly. Thus, finding a stone statue while roaming through dimly lit tunnels underneath a city, should rather be considered a warning sign than a lucky find. Legend has it, however, that some spunky looters are actively searching for signs of a quasilisk in order to harvest the stony victims it leaves behind. The risk might be worth it, since such highly detailed statues are much appreciated by eccentric collectors and wealthy patrons.
