Item – Book of Butterflies & Mince (Patreon)

This item is based on the Heartbold.

Barely larger than a tinderbox, this flesh-made tome is held together by life and death alike – rotting, yet preserved for eternity by eldritch spells. Its verses tell ancient poems of love, loss, hope and despair. Studying the otherworldly symbols binds the reader’s self to the book, feeding its ever-hungry essence in the process. Only then, the putrid pages may flourish and reveal their most sacred secret.
