Spoilers! I think Vincent was in the right. I am glad he didn't just rush into his choice. He acknowledged that it's complicated for both sides. But ultimately, it's for the best. I love how he took Lovely's opinions into consideration. I wonder what Vincent's new name will be? How they are both going to rebuild lives outside of the House and Vincent's title?

Part of me is so sad because I loved House Solaire and William and it all felt very found-family to me. Going back and hearing Vincent talk about his experiences adapting to his new life though, I can pick up on hints that eventually led to this. It feels like a natural progression, but it also feels bittersweet.

I am now 25 years old, I have followed Vincent's story from the beginning (Vincent is the one) and besides all the other characters, Vincent really has a special place in my heart. It's great but at the same time scary to grow with this story because one day it will end... I find Vincent's development so fascinating and I can't wait to see how this continues. I'm so happy that Vincent FINALLY got to make a decision about the direction his life is going. This decision was really made in collaboration with his partner. Lovely didn't tell him what to do...they made a CHOICE about the best thing for their life without any one else dictating their course. I am excited to see what is in their future. Do have to ask, though, about what that means for Porter. Please don't let this be the end for Sam, Vincent, or Porter. I need them all in my life!!!

I was thinking of this audio while I was out on a short walk this morning. In the exact moment that I thought about it, I looked down at the ground and saw a set of plastic vampire fangs that someone had dropped. They looked almost exactly like Vincent's logo. lol I'm going through a very scary health situation right now. This audio (and so many of the others) brings me so much comfort and encouragement. Vincent telling Lovely just how strong they are, how they've persevered in the face of having life ripped away from them in so many different ways and having to rebuild, and how it matters to keep fighting for a life that you want, even when it's hard, even when you're tired or scared. I'm still working on finding some extra support in real life that I can lean on, but in the meantime, these audios are such a blessing to me when I feel completely alone. Sorry to always be writing fuckin novels in the comments, but they come from the heart and are said with the utmost sincerity. Thank you for following your passion and choosing to do this work. It helps so many of us keep going.
