sorry this one is a bit late. it was originally supposed to be a longer audio, but this took so much longer to edit than i would have imagined. but i think it works well broken apart like this too, so i want you guys to have this first part of The Balance's season resolution. Edited the post to drop possible spoilers down a little bit... D'Deridahn now controls Blake? Has D'Deridahn broken from The Drove, or is he taking The Drove with him? How are the Sovereigns going to "fix" Blake? What are the implications of what the Sovereigns are planning? Excited at the thought that Scorpious is coming back. Super past my bedtime, but couldn't fall asleep until I knew if a vid was going to drop. I'll have to wait until morning to try to sort through some of the plot points going on, including going back through the Balance storyline to catch up on a few finer points. Wondering if the "testing" on Blake was related to the "experiment" that Vega did on Ivan and Baby... More to come after some sleep and a rewatch of the full Balance series. LOVE THIS LORE!!!!

Not to spoil, but in the description, Scott is credited as voicing D'Deridahn, so the voices you are hearing that are not Blake are the Sovereigns.

First and foremost: #SunshineIsFree, #Finally, #FreeScorpius #FuckBlake Now - a little theorizing (wow - this got long): For the longest time, I thought Blake was Hush, but at some point, I stopped. I can't remember what prompted that change in thinking. I've listened to it several times now and I don't hear Hush in the mix during any of Blake's lines - just D'Deridahn and Blake (and an echo that I am assuming is The Drove because it does not act or sound like Hush). But I clearly see that Hush is somehow connected to the story, so is this Hush's origin story? When Hush destroys Vega, it is at CloseKnit headquarters after the raid. Looking at Hush's timeline, he has already been imprisoned, destroyed an entire legion of Articulates, escaped, killed another Articulate in front of Doc (using them as a magical conduit), then hangs out with Doc (more bodies stack up), before finding himself at CloseKnit HQ with Vega. Blake turning into Hush would explain some stuff (how Hush is kinda human and kinda d[a]emon but not really either and how Hush transports himself differently than d[a]emons and can take other humans with him when he transports). I'm still stuck on Blake just giving up on Bestie when he becomes Hush if there is a transformation, but he may also no longer remember being Blake. Hush does have that same "if it meets my needs I'll do it" mentality that Blake has, just a softer voice that lets you kinda just let it happen. One final thing - there must be a difference between transposition and rifting because it is CANON that a human cannot rift because that requires a stop in Aria along the way and humans can't survive there. But D'Deridahn clearly said humans saw how d[a]emon's did transposition and gave up because they couldn't master it. Do d[a]emons also travel via transposition or is this something that d[a]emons gave up in favor of rifting only? What is the magical difference between transposition and rifting? Did D'Deridahn make an erroneous assumption that humans could rift and something about Blake rifting while being possessed by D'Deridahn changed something about his physical form? Well, I guess I have an afternoon of revisiting The Balance and Hush's videos to re-evaluate my timeline to see how this new information fits into my current theory. I'll report back with anything fun I find during this new deep dive 🤔😉😃🔎

Finally being able to listen to this and just how intense this all was got the wheels turning. I have some questions. Some already asked so I won't repeat them here. Is Sunshine going to be safe? Is Sunshine posessed like Blake? Will Blake and Sunshine meet up again? I hope they don't I want Elliot and Sunshine back together. Also is Sweetheart part of the raid to Close Knit?
