I love all the angst of self awakening and uncertain awareness of what was and might influence the present/future. Hush and Vega are such beautiful amalgamations of their terrifying origins. It's such a talent you have in all your stories to bring each character and plot point to life, but to make the listener both excited and full of dread of the ancient past and uncertain future just gives me butterflies. I can't wait for the next installation!

Have listened, have liked...💜, but will have to come back for a relisten after tonight. 🤭 I'm already too far gone in my sleep-deprived brain as that I could think straight enough for a good comment anymore. It's a miracle I can currently still write at all. lol. Tonight, my lack of sleep will find some rsistance! Tomorrow I shall be up again for praise and nonsense and swooning and analyzing Vega. 😴🛌🌄🌞☕👋 I never listen just once, anyway. 💜

What a difference a proper night of sleep makes! Lol. I feel, as though I hadn't been able to process any of what Vega said last night, only the fact that he had sounded verrrrryyyyy calming. :-) Which was perfect just before going to bed. He talks so soothingly. Listening to this again wide awake, I'm excited about the lore that's bestowed on us. And I love how Vega describes the spellsong, and how it sounds now. Imagine being able to hear/perceive that! This is also interesting in terms of redemption. Vega is currently sort of stripped back to his core (not the magical one, but the core of who he is). And he realizes, he has the potential to be or become (again) anything, yet chooses to ask Inchoate to warn him if the wrong side starts to win... So, even a Sadism Demon has a conscience, at least when it's not buried under all the clutter and noise that accumulates over one's lifetime. Maybe sometimes it wouldn't be so bad to forget everything (at least temporarily) and be left with looking at only who we truly are, and what we might have to focus on to be or become what we really want to be. With Vega becoming so likeable, I hope, he won't eventually sacrifice himself to save the Meridian or something like that. I kinda want a proper love story between him and Inchoate, and for him to buy Caelum a ton of ice cream as an apology one day (not sure that would be enough). lol Can't wait to see where the plot goes! :-)

we are one step closer to having imp!vega my beloved in the canon timeline. i am soooo torn because i adore vega and warden to extreme degrees but he was a lil stinker during s1 of freelancer's storyline. when is a monster not a monster? when you love him, i guess 🥹

I do love Vega and the Inchoate’s relationship mostly because it is so complicated 😭! I may be in the minority of seeing them as wonderful platonic friends that truly respect one another. Idk I feel like it’d be weird to have Vega call the Warden their “Pet” when all he really NEEDS right now, is a friend and confidant. And I can’t wait until we get the chance to see if Vega and Brachium know each other, since they’re both some of the last daemons crafted directly from the sovereigns essentially. 🤩
