How have you fucking made me feel bad for Regulus???? What is wrong with me???? Is this the fate Caelum was headed for if the Chorus hasn't allowed him to interact with Freelancer???? Is this a vision of what Caelum would have become???? (I know the relationship part was different in their stories, but Calum losing himself in his charges seems the same in both their stories).

Missed Regulus so much! I'm always impressed by how much of his writing and the portrayal of him (especially in latter videos) gives the sense that he his hurting because of his lost charge and it is the listener's fault for fighting. For hurting him and by extension hurting both of them. Yearning and wanting to go back to the before times, before he lost them due to human limitations. It's disturbing to be practically kidnapped for many years and forced to comply, restrained, your very sense of self being rewritten to fit inside this mold of something of this entity you can't even fathom as an unempowered human. At the same time, it's heartbreaking that Regulus is suffering so much at this point that he can't let go. He's taken in pieces of them from different iterations for God knows how long, even refusing to feed from anyone but them, because it's them. But it's not THEM. And the ending, that blew my mind. I was still waiting for the other shoe to drop and when the video just ended, I couldn't help but be excited for the listener. I wonder if this is truly it. If it is, this storyline has been wonderful to follow and look into themes that I wouldn't have readily sought out, but eventually pulled me in and held me tighter than Regulus did after 4 years. If it isn't... I can only say that I'm excited to see what follows and what becomes of Regulus and his listener. Thank you for the amazing content as always! You never fail to capture these stories and plots that paint such vivid scenes and pull such imagery that leave me on the edge of my seat, patiently waiting for the next instalment!
