The whole time, until near the end where Blake says he's fine driving and it got convirmed that he was indeed still doing that, I was hoping that I'd been missing something. Like, the part where Blake and Bestie had swapped seats and it was now Bestie behind the wheel... 'Cause, not that Blake in this state isn't already terrifying enough, but him still driving that car?! 😱 I think, the fear from that alone might have been my end, had it been me in the passenger seat, and then Blake would have gotten his visions of the future fulfilled right then and there! 😭 I also don't know how to interpret Bestie's relative "calm". I mean, I guess, what can they do? So, maybe they're just overwhelmed and frightened. I guess, if your friend/lover was possessed by a crazy powerful entity, you might not be trying to do much of anything, because you wouldn't know what do do, and you'd just stick around for your beloved one as support. Perhaps Bestie realizes, that the Sovereign would "remove" them if they tried anything to stop Blake or even just if they freaked out too much. Bestie might just be scared into silence. 🤔 But something makes me want to think it's more than that. I just don't know what it could be. I already got suspicious back when Bestie heard Blake having that conversation with D'Deridahn. How they'd snuck out of bed, eavesdropped, and then quickly went back to bed and pretended they hadn't heard... Maybe that was them being afraid there already, but it seemed odd to me. You'd think, if you heard your friend/lover talk like that to what must have seemed an invisible person (or to himself), then you'd burst into the room and ask if everythng is okay and what's going on. But they didn't... I wonder, if we're heading towards one of those wild plot twists Erik is so good at. It wouldn't surprise me, even though the twist itself would still be a surprise! 😉 Anyway, the suspense right now!! I hope, we won't have to wait too, too long for the next part. 🤞

Something that just popped into my head. It is Canon that Bestie let/made Blake drive more and they’re known for their insomnia… Sunshine almost died from a car crash. …. Probably just a coincidence.
