[characters playing a horror D&D oneshot, including:][flickering images][horror themes and atmosphere throughout][references to spirits, violence, deaths][sounds of violence, pain, joint/bone cracking][auditorily and emotionally intense][raised voices/yelling][aggressive tone and language][arguing][sudden loud noises][antagonist deliberately crossing character's established limits (claustrophobia)][antagonist ignoring established check-ins/safety tools][sudden flooding/risk of drowning][characters in danger both knowingly and unknowingly]
I found a setting that can make the character icons light up in response to noise on their individual tracks, which saved a huge amount of time in the video edit (which was wonderful, because with all the other edits to do beyond those, this one still ended up taking even longer than the last one to edit), and while I tried to dial in the settings to minimize any rapid flickering on the soft spoken sections, there still is some (and there’s some brightness flare effects on other edits). I don’t know to what extent that small amount of flickering/glowing might affect photosensitivity, but in the interest of an abundance of caution, I wanted to put that out there. This one also has some really loud moments to punctuate the drama.
This one ups the Halloween/horror elements, so for those excited for that, I hope you enjoy. For those worried for our cast of characters, remember there’s two more episodes ahead (in a good way!), and at risk of spoiling things, just know that while this is effectively a depiction of them in a horror game, it’s all gonna work out. This is meant to be a Halloween sidequest for the crew, not another Inversion.
