This was so sweet and endearing. Geordi's fear about being vulnerable and then his realization that he was fine and loved and wanted and *safe* was just a really gorgeous narrative circle. And that isn't even touching his reaction to Cutie's admission of their powers - walking through that whole process was actually really intimate in a way, and I loved listening in on *how* he processed it all, too. Geordi is sweet and wonderful and deserves all the good things, even if he's going to massively troll us every now and again (and, let's be real - he's right; he's kind of earned the right to).

Words can not describe how cute this is, and I just want to cuddle Geordi and never let him go. Really curious about his past and what this "Ben" person did to make Geordi feel so insecure, but I'm glad that Geordi has cutie now and maybe he can move forward. He's so sweet and cute, the awkwardness is definitely adorable, and can honestly relate to how he feels about not wanting to be too much and wanting to make a good impression. Felt a little sting hearing him think that cutie may be crazy when they told him they're a telepath, but the whole realization and accepting more than made up for it. Amazing job as always Erik <3

This was adorable and a very realistic reaction, imo. Love the sound panning and echoing when it's an internal monologue as opposed to him actually speaking. A definitive separation without being too jarring switching between the two. The self-consciousness being linked to a past relationship (and we all collectively want to throw hands with this Ben character now) is so relatable. Who hasn't had a person in your past that's made you doubt yourself and your worth? Whether intentional or incidental, those feelings cut deep and leave lasting scars. Geordi is such a wholesome likeable character it's easy to feel sympathy for his self doubt and rebounding enthusiasm. One of my favorites so far!

Despite Geordi being introduced to a whole new world and knowledge of his partner being an empowered, I find it cute he still feels that sense of safeness with Cutie. I can’t wait to explore more of their relationship and the mind of Geordi :3

So worth the wait 🥺 I love every second of this. It feels so real; cutie reacting to his thoughts and trying to comfort his self-doubt even before he knows they can hear him, his disbelief, trying to rationalize, and him having so many questions. Ive always really loved the writing and recording style for Geordi, and I feel like it all just gets better with each of his audios even though we only have a few so far. His voice bouncing from ear to ear and the way his sentences fragment and get soft when his thoughts are more subconscious. Its interesting too how in this one, his speaking voice seems more schooled and even, while his inner voice is more expressive. In "later" audios he speaks closer to the way he thinks, like at first he was trying to seem less emotional than he really is, but learns to let it out more the longer he and cutie are together. I simply want to hold and protect this man with all my heart

GEORDI I LOVE!!!! This was so sweet and also slightly heart breaking at first. His insecurities are so valid and his worry about being “too much” definitely hits home. God I would love to just live in his head even if he’s singing annoying songs or thinking about grammar and random shit. Geordi is best boy and he is so so loved!

😍💖 GEORDI!!! 😍💖 Geordi has been one of my favorites, since the debut of his first audio. So, my heart was jumping for joy at this new bit of content! It was truly amazing. I adored every moment of it. Geordi is so sweet, and so genuinely relatable. Being given the opportunity to hear his thoughts, stream-of-consciousness style, alongside outwardly spoken dialogue... It allows for such an unfiltered and unique glimpse into who he is as a character. With all the positive, negative, humorous, chaotic, and earnestly heartfelt aspects that come along with such an ability, in the context of this story. Again, I just love it. It's such an intriguing layer of the storytelling, sound work, and character building! Plus, to pair all of those awesome elements with a love confession AND a reveal of magical abilities!? IT WAS MARVELOUS! I FELT SO MANY EMOTIONS 💖😍🥰😭 Great stuff! The entire range of Geordi's reaction was just perfect. Completely understandable, authentic, very relatable, and realistic. Not to mention, it simply wouldn't be a Geordi audio without a catchy tune, and memes 😜: "Say, 'You asked for it, a whole video dedicated to The Rainbow Sponge'" — I legitimately cackled, even amidst all the intensity of the moment 🤣 Bravo! 👏 This audio was such a beautiful balance of emotional variety and depth! It is surely another wonderful addition to the Springback anthology! Such a cool flashback! 💖🌸🌷🌺🌻💐💖 I'm all smiles right now. On a more serious note: The references to Geordi's insecurities, doubts, fears and worries, that seemingly stem from past relationships... This is another aspect of Geordi's character that I can very much relate to. On a deeply personal level. And his desire for, and value of, connections that feel, 'Safe' again... All of that hits very close to home for me, in many ways. And in my opinion, those internal struggles are portrayed very honestly and realistically in Geordi's audios. So, I just wanted to specifically say thank you so much for that, Erik. As always, all of your content and hard work is truly appreciated! 💜

Something that absolutely kills me in this audio is how quickly Geordi assumes that they're leaving him and then immediately he tells himself that he'll be fine. I can't count how many times I've said that and knowing how it feels makes my heart hurt 100x for this sweet boy.
