oh my god the paperwork is *chef's kiss*

Jo G

My god, you actually did it 🤣

Gretchen

This must have been so much work, OMG. (It's great, I love it. Also 6969 South Oral Ave? I am deceased.)

Saya

I love how accurate and similar this is to a real life closing, all the terms and everything is right and the same, this must have taken so much time! I love the asmr feeling of this one! Well done Erik! All that said, I can see why Asher didn’t want to do this step prior to telling Babe! 😂

Sweetheart Vibes

Imagining Cutie going through this for Geordi

PinkBoss Music

I’m just sitting here trying to imagine how Davey got Angel’s social security number like… they weren’t even together for a year before he told them… Did he just ask and they were like “Sure, I’ll write it down for you!!” Or did he snoop around for it? Because either way this is hilarious to me. And don’t even get me started on Cutie trying to get Geordi to think of his number 😂

Shana

Omg, an hour long of talking about paperwork?! Love it! Donno if this would put me to sleep like David's comforts do (his voice is just so relaxing and comfy) but worth a shot sometime if i really wanna be bored to sleep haha, but i will say it is really nice to just listen to you talk for an hour straight. I appreciate you putting in the work for this

Origene

OMG WHAT, this is so cool!! I shall listen while I do my taxes 😂

StrayDryad

Okay, this is both interesting and relaxing to listen to. And major props for creating all that actual paperwork, it's a pretty cool detail though I can only imagine how much time that took. Also random side note but I love using those types of pens, they work really well! Great job, this was really enjoyable!

sealriously-sealrious

The amount of time and effort this must have taken—I’m just so impressed 💙

L.L

I definitely can't wait to take a closer look at the work put into the documents themselves! This was a fun listen even if it was meant to be phonebook-esque 🤭

Worldbuilding like this is SO far up my alley. As a kid I was big into the Nightwatch/Daywatch books, and online at the time they had created a "License for the Consumption of Human Blood" that you could fill in and print out (for the vampires in the story you either drink donated blood or get a license to hunt), and it sparked a love for the "paper props" side of TTRPGs. Filling in patient admission forms and autopsy reports for Arkham games.. Preflight checklists and aircraft repair orders for a Battlestar game.. This has just sparked such a nostalgia even though I guess it's supposed to be mind numbing.. apparently I just love paperwork. Absolutely stellar work on this! Thanks so much for sharing more of the world with us. Even if it was the minutia of paperwork! (p.s. imagining Davey having to go through all this? Fucking priceless I love it so much.)

Now I can understand why Asher said nah let’s skip this part

Words cannot possibly express how much I adore this video! 😍 It's fantastic! Not only is it super cool and immersive from a narrative/lore perspective, but it is also incredibly soothing! You've done it, Erik... You've successfully made the process of filling out governmental paperwork relaxing and pleasant! 😍 LOL! But seriously, this is awesome. I've already watched it twice, all the way through, just today, haha. It's so calming. Plus, the additional video element is great, for even more in-depth immersion. And that added medium allows for a layer of tranquil visuals, as well. (Hand movements, pen movement, page flipping, etc.) Oh, and the associated writing sounds and typing sounds were wonderful. It's all so nice 💕 As mentioned in the video description, I would totally count myself amongst the people who would find it endlessly relaxing, even if you just read directly from the phonebook 😜💕 I love this kind of, "long-form reading/discussion" style video. So, there's no bluffing from me... I wholeheartedly think this is fabulous! I can't wait to be read to sleep!!! Haha! Does being read a 22-page packet of paperwork count as a bedtime story? 😂 (Actually, both times I've watched this thus far, I've found myself listening very intently and attentively nodding along in response to questions, just on reflex 😂.) Anyway, this is marvelous! I think it is so cool that you've had this idea for a long while, and now it has officially been created! 👏 It's such a intriguing facet to the narrative universe. And the way you made this paperwork fit in seamlessly with the established DUMP lore/protocol was fantastic. Plus, I caught a couple references to everyone's favorite fourth-wall-breaking-narrative device within that paperwork, as well ... 'Echo Lane', 'Listener Mine'... Very clever 😉 I have no doubt that putting all of this together took quite a long time. And every bit of that hard work is so deeply appreciated! Thank you so much for all that you do, Erik! 😊 A video that is almost an hour and a half long!?!? We are being so spoiled right now!! 💖😍💖😍

GravityRose

This is awesome! I had to stop laughing prior to listening :). This would have been torture forAsh

Teafairy

I’m so glad I’m not the only person who likes this kind of thing. World building is great. The detail in this is incredible, thank you!
