Discord Update (Patreon)

I posted about this over on my Discord as well, but since it affects a tier benefit I wanted to post it here as well. The TL;DR of it is: I'm stepping away from my Discord server and it's becoming a fan-run space. As a result of that, the tier benefit of receiving a specific Patreon role on that server is now being removed from my Patreon tiers. Since this change is happening mid-month after you've already paid, if any of you want a refund for this month, I totally get that. DM me and I'll get it taken care of. Thank you.The full message, copied from Discord:Hi @everyone,  There’s going to be a big change for the server in two days, and I want to explain what that will be and the reasoning behind it.With the increase in the amount of time and energy that it takes to manage this server as it has grown, paired with my own limited availability and very tight schedule balancing real life concerns, my real life job, and the channel itself, it’s become increasingly difficult for me to continue running Redacted Records in good faith with as much of the attention as it requires and deserves. With that in mind, I feel that the best option is to step down from ownership and moderation of this server. That said, I know how much this place means to so many of you and I don’t want that to go away. So this server is being converted into an unofficial fan server for my content, and I’ll be stepping away from it. Aiton, Lynie, Auth, and Sal will be stepping away from moderation of the server at that time as well for the sake of their own life balances. Moderation of the server will now be managed by the remaining current staff and the mod team from the RR Jr server, who will be coming on as the new mod team of this space as well.I want to be clear—there wasn’t some singular precipitating event, or person, or issue that led to this decision. As the rest of my life has gotten busier, and this space has simultaneously grown so much, it just reached a natural point where I can’t manage this in addition to everything else going on in my online and offline life. There’s no ill will. I’m still very proud of this place and the community that it fosters and I wish it nothing but future growth in that regard. But I need to prioritize my own well being, and this is one of the results of that.With all that in mind, some logistical things to know about this transfer:The transfer will take place on Saturday the 9th.I will no longer be a part of the server in any capacity. It will be completely fan-managed and owned. The name will be changing to "Wonderworld". There will no longer be an official Redacted ASMR discord server, though this space will continue as an unofficial unaffiliated one. Though I will be leaving, all of my old posts will continue to exist on this server as lore resources. All of that information will also be included in the new lore website as well, when that releases.The linkage between my Patreon and this server will be discontinued. The tier roles (Tease, Flirt, Heartbreaker, S.O., Devoted, and Obsessed) will be removed from this server.Thumbnail announcements will be changed to community posts on my Youtube channel, dropped in biweekly batches.Any other announcements that I would have previously made here, including merch and updates on the lore website, will be made through community posts and/or be discussed in the monthly update videos.I want to end this by saying thank you to all of you for making this space what it is. I didn’t even know what Discord was before I made this server. What it has grown to be in these almost two years is nothing short of staggering. Thank you for engaging, thank you for caring about what I make and about each other, and thank you for being such an incredible community. I know that I’m leaving this space in great hands and I wish it and all of you nothing but the best going forward. And I’m so excited to get to share the future of my content with you all.
