I love the freelancer squad with my whole heart. And maybe it's cause I'm a whore for found family trope but I just wanna scoop them all up in my pocket and protect them. Everything in this audio was great. (Still hoping for a Lasko/Freelancer/Gavin canon polycule, but even without I still love this series). I love Hux and Dames relationship and while I knew the rest of the friend group would approve i understand Damiens nervousness and having the squad actually be verbally supportive meant so much and I'm stop rambling now, awesome audio always love your work! 💛

Ohhh yes ive been waiting for this one. My soul has been healed, my crops watered, 10 years added to the end of my life. I cannot get enough of the dynamics between all these characters; how they play off each other both as individuals and as a whole group is just endlessly delightful. The editing in this one is so cool too, how we kind of follow parts of conversations, hear others speaking from the other room, focus in on Gavin and then switch back to Lasko, it all feels really organic and helps get the feeling that everyone is around and talking to eachother in a way that doesnt feel overwhelming. Group audios are always some of my favs and I'm so happy the DAMN crew are getting more recently ☺️☺️☺️ I know they must be a pain to record and edit but your effort is very much appreciated

I can't wait for future audios of the group to have them doing cute couple things like holding hands and saying sweet things to each other and getting protective in any kind of dangerous situation because, let's face it, they have a habit of getting into those by now and nothing is more wholesome than a couple fighting to defend each other from danger or tending to wou ds. It's too precious. Fuck.

I-I-I... Yes. All of my Yes! The Lasko Marathon Audio Oration (L.M.A.O) Was the most Flawlessly Flawed speech I have ever heard! Amazing voice acting! I cause I could swear it sounds like, from a listeners POV, that you LITERALLY could not stop. I also more and more am sailing on the FL/gavin/lasko canon ship cause that poor boy needs an anchor. Both gavin and FL can provide that. (Totally not I want to shut him up with kisses... totally not.)

This was absolutely flawlessly written, executed, acted, and produced. Holy cats, this is my favorite piece of Redacted media (and I do not say that lightly because, let's face it, there are so many top contenders!). But this? This tenderness, loving friendship, time and battle-tested bonds among the five of them? 100/10.

DAMES!!!!! I love Hux’s nickname for him. “There’s some broken part in me that’s convinced there’s gonna be a problem.” That hit hard. There’s an anxiety that some people feel when things are going well because something always fucks it up so we try to brace ourselves for it. Hux is a goddamn rock. His character is designed So Fucking Well! I love Gavin flustering poor Lasko while FL is probably grinning like an idiot but Gavin of course offering boundaries. When is FL going to smoosh their faces together? Damien’s “I am not. sweet.” lmaooo being tsundere af I love it. “You’re a really cute couple.” OMG LASKO AND HE’S SO HAPPY ITS LIKE SPILLING OUT OF HIS FACE I LOVE IT! AWWWWWWW—((explodes))

💖💖💖 My heart is so full of joy and love right now! This installment was absolutely amazing! There was so much beautiful communication and empathetic understanding on display here. Both in the opening scene between Damien and Huxley, and during the announcement with the entire crew💖 It was so emotionally authentic. It truly captured the intense mix of emotion that can arise, when sharing a new facet of yourself with the people you care about. The apprehension, the vulnerability, the hope, and the bravery required to take that leap in the first place, even though you're scared. Followed by a beautiful chorus of love, congratulations, and enthusiastic acceptance. It was just perfect, all-around! 🥰 Again, my heart is positively overflowing with joy right now!!! I'm so happy for Damien and Huxley!!! And I just love the whole D.A.M.N. group so much! Every bit of this was so wonderful. I'm getting teary-eyed as I type this 😭💜 To quote Lasko, "Awwwwww!!!" 💖 I also really loved all the little moments where, the bond between each of the characters was explored in a little vignette, of sorts. The bits of conversation exchanged between Huxley and Lasko, Damien and Gavin, Lako and Gavin, Damian and Huxley, etc... It was a lovely snapshot of their unique connections to each other and their individual character growth, as well as their group dynamic. It was all done spectacularly, with the theme of earnest communication, and an ongoing respect for boundaries woven seamlessly throughout the audio 💜 On that topic: I thought the interactions between both Gavin and Lasko, and Gavin and Damien added yet another heartwarming layer to this audio. You can really hear how much these characters care about each other, and how much of a transformation they've gone through together, over time. Everything about this was incredible: The writing, the voice acting, the storytelling... It's marvelous. Oh, and the visual addition of highlighting the Character Symbols, to indicate who is speaking was so cool, and very helpful. Nice touch! Plus, the fact that Huxley's Character Symbol is interlocked with Damien's in all the video art for this installment... That's just the best thing ever! 🥰 As always, I can't wait to hear more of this plotline in the future!
