OHHHHH THIS. I LIKE THIS. We got some sneaking, some deal-making, some trickery! I was hoping Scorpius would be amenable to an agreement, I couldn't imagine a demon working for CK willingly. Now we got Eli on the outside, with his memories (eventually) intact. I'm curious to see if he'll bring in the department or if the "someone else who can" Scorpius mentioned was a hint at a cooperation with other characters. My speculations might be getting out of hand but what if Eli wanders into a 7/11 and a certain other incubus got wind of the situation? Of Scorpius' situation? He and the DAMN crew could be a handy asset in this mess, with Lasko's high position at the Academy 👀 But I'm just talking out of my ass. Whoever ends up bringing down the ward and freeing Sunshine and Scorpius, I'm on the edge of my seat for the reunion between Elliott and his partner. Sunshine thinks he's gone forever and forgotten them, they don't believe there's any way out other than to play along with Blake and plot some other escape. And once Eli remembers what his mission is, he'll be terrified of what state he might find Sunshine in when he returns. I simply cannot wait.

This installment was so awesome, and enthralling! It was such a relief, hearing from Elliott again, while he's actually awake. Even if it is under tenuous circumstances 💔 And mentioning relief, I'm SO glad that Scorpius agreed to working as a team, and enacting a plan that doesn't involve permanently modifying Elliott's memories! It felt like a weight had been taken off my shoulders, the minute they made that arrangement together. If only this could all be solved so easily, though. I have a feeling things are going to get messy. I'm on pins and needles, eager to see where the storyline goes! Indeed, he is out of the basement now 😂 But the frightening truth is... What awaits us, on the journey ahead? 😰 It was also incredibly interesting to hear a bit about Scorpius' backstory, when it comes to any involvement with Closeknit. GB did such wonderful work, in helping to bring Scorpius to life through vocals and characterization. It was lovely, all-around! I really like this new character already! Great stuff! 💜 This whole audio was stellar, from start to finish, in all aspects of creation and collaboration. Again, I can't wait to hear more of this storyline. Needless to say, I desperately hope that the plan works out, for all parties involved. Only time will tell, I suppose. Oh, and from a visuals standpoint: The video art and thumbnail art is amazing! 😍 I love the narrative implications of spotlighting the song lyric, "Please, Don't Take my Sunshine Away." That definitely pulled at my heartstrings 🥺❤️ And I loved the delicate indicator of who was speaking, based on the glow of the Character Symbol featured. That is such a cool detail to add!!!

Ok. Ok around 8:49 or so it almost sounds like Elliott says “take away” which could just be him repeating Scorpius saying “take him” but Scorpius doesn’t say “take him away” so was that “take away” referring to “don’t take my sunshine away” because if it was I would have collapsed if they hadn’t just made that deal. Also, Gavin is the tooth fairy and Scorpius is the easter bunny? I need holiday mascots or whatever they are for Brachium, Avior, Vega, Cam, Caelum, Regulus, and every other demon in RedactedVerse on my desk first thing in the morning.
