Not saying I'm 100% convinced that he's telling the truth but I guess if anyone is going to do what needs to be done, it makes sense that it's Vega. He seems to be the only one with both the knowledge/understanding of the apparent danger and the brutality required to face it head on. I like the idea that we now have to wonder if the end justified the horrible means. Doesn't make what he did ok but maybe we can understand why.

oh i'm gonna need a minute to rant about this one ✨✨ Going between being absolutely terrified of and *loving* the parallels / opposites of to Imperium (ie. the way Vega has gathered energy in the department 'prison'(?) is the same base idea as in the Imperium in the Haven, the way he is taking it upon himself to lead this sort of uprising in both universes, among other things). Especially knowing that Avior's story is going to be getting some series movement soon, as well as knowing *how* his story plays into the "ending" of the Imperium and how it crossed with Vega's story there too, I'm endlessly curious/nervous about what that implies for this prime universe. (Also also, the way I GASPED when the creation of vampires was explained. That's so fucking cool to me but also: ✨terrifying✨ for the future implications)
