Listening to Sam and Darlin' moving in together is perfection, but what's really sticking with me is Sam's relationship with blood! Nothing to be savored, just chug it and go—very unlike Vincent and Lovely pre-their turning! I wonder if that'll come up later 🤔 Incredible work as always!

Even a soft, fluffy moment between lovers has a lore drop. So after I make a note that Sam doesn't like the taste of blood and treats it like a supplement rather than his nutrition, I'm now left wondering: where is Mont Blanc? Why was it bad for Sam? Why was he rootless and living out of a backpack? How did that "move in with me" conversation go? I'll just add these questions to the "Burning Questions I'll Never Remember to Ask" list.

Mont Blanc is a city in Texas. From the way Sam talks about it, maybe it was his hometown or where he grew up pre-Dahlia. Just a thought. ^_^
