bruh how is the listener gonna get rescued this time??? cos a while back Cam was saying how he was trying to get someone to check up on them after the breakouts but the department was dragging their feet because they were confident they made progress rehabilitating Regulus. how do you fix a mindfuck like this? also im pretty sure if they wanna disentangle Regulus from the listener this time around theyre actually going to have to kill him (and im worried he would try to take the listener down with him) that also brings up a thought. because its been explained that when a demon takes a memory, they hold onto it and they can give it back if they want. but what happens to the memories if the demon dies? do the memories die along with the demon? do they get set free and return to the person they belong to? also also wondering if Regulus's plot ties into any of the other stories on the channel

Me staring bug-eyed at my ceiling for the last seven minutes of the audio like O.O Regulus is absolutely terrifying. I love how we slowly start seeing the cracks in his facade with the slight audio doubling with the deeper voice. I’m absolutely terrified for this listener. Even if we pull a Gavin Rescue™ again, I can’t imagine how the department would begin to sort this one out (if they even could—Can magic undo deamonic memory modification?). Something about Regulus at the end reminded me a lot of Kody when he talked about the nature of water magic. Something like “water is patient, but inevitable.” Fantastic work, as always. Love the villains. More please ❤️

i'm not done listening to it yet but i'm once again amazed by your ability to convey certain (horrifying) things and this just takes it to another level. regulus is so interesting to me and as terrifying as he is, he's probably in my top 3 characters. i need to study him like a bug bc i am so curious as to what led him down this path and hearing him become more deranged with each video is just !!!!! seriously this is one of your best works with the script, acting, the sound design all of it ❤️ i can't wait to see where this storyline goes

We have it established via The Balance and Blake that any modified memories can be restored via the D(a)emon that tampered with them, but if said D(a)emon dies before that happens, are the memories then lost forever? As D(a)emons presumably can’t modify each other’s memories, I assume memories can’t be transferred between D(a)emons.

I had mentioned this elsewhere but one of the reasons I love Regulus so much is that he and Caelum are the same kind of demons. Both became consumed by empathy and it affected them deeply. Yet the damage manifested itself it two completely opposite ways.
