Funny thing about Vega I learnt recently at one of Tokyo’s planetariums: We all know Polaris, the North Star. A fixed point in the sky that has been a way-finder for circumnavigation for centuries. But it hasn’t always been that way and Polaris won’t always be our North Star in the future either. The earth’s axis precesses (like a spinning top), drawing a circle in the sky. One full rotation takes about 26,000 years to complete. By astronomers’ calculations, in the year 13,500 Vega will be our new North Star. I thought that was interesting. 🙂

I want to see more out of Project Maridian. The others had a bit of a push, but that storyline hasn't had a push in months. Besides, I want James and Anton to go back to their partners #letsgetjamesandantionhome THAT being said. I know it's not an option, but I am also curious about Geordi and Cutie's story. Considering how their last video ended, I want to at least know that they are both in better places- even if they are not together. 💔
