I knew he had to have a connection to the sovereigns and a mission to free them. And him being the silence in between the spellsong made manifest is such an interesting concept. I have been reading the description of the Inversion in the timeline again and Brachium said he feared that something worse then the Shades will come. Maybe the whole reason for the Inversion happening the way it did was to collect enough energy from the living people the shades drained to create Hush. He doesn't have a core but uses magic and strong one too. He doesn't need energy and doesn't need to feed. Considering how many people where drained during the Inversion and their combined magical energy, it wouldn't surprise me that he doesn't run out of energy so soon.

Hush is both terrifying but so comedically obtuse sometimes and I can't help but adore him. Like yes, you did give him a warning but you also turned him inside out barely a second later 🤭.

i love this audio for many many reasons but i especially loved getting to hear more about the way magic works in your world. all the different ways magic and music intertwine, with the spellsong and aria, the chorus, the cacophony, it's some really unique worldbuilding! i think it's such a beautiful and interesting way to portray the idea of magic as this thrumming, singing force that has its own tune for everybody but they all harmonize together to compose the entirety of the spellsong. and hush being the "silence" in the song oh the way i got tingles under my skin i love this brand of symbolism specifically 😩👌🏻💕

Such conflicted feelings about this dude.. Obviously he is BAD NEWS - his mission is very not good (from the perspective we've had so far). But I like the guy. There is something endearing about his want to learn, and his very straight forward way of thinking. I wonder if his blossoming friendship with Doc is going to scupper his mission... I wonder if it will interfere with his "I'll cease to exist". I mean... if all he needs is a purpose to exist, then if that purpose shifts or he gets a new purpose (*cough* loving and being loved by Doc *cough*) then maybe he won't just cease, at least not permanently... but I'm ever the optimist...

Im so into the story building and how we are the unofficial teacher on “how to human and what is human” for this being that for all we know is causing mass genocide in aria. I can only hope that us (Doc) find some therapy asap cuz thats the second time a demons blown up in our face…also anyone else thinking of the fact that they arnt (the chorus) gunna send more demons after Hush its gunna be us?!

I’d actually laugh so hard if Hush is the spellsong getting ready to fix itself for the meridian problem, but doesn’t and can’t because Doc keeps distracting them with adorable mundane things like going on dates and having fun with them~!!!

He's an instrumental force given purpose. Silence in the spell song. The quiet that roars in the gaps. When was the most noticeable silence in the spell song? The Inversion. SO what if Hush is created from the silence that 1500 people left behind. I may have an existential crisis over this.
