THATS👏MY👏MAN👏 Once again, incredible work. Now to figure out where it sits in the timeline so I can have them all in order. I loved this dip back into grumpy guts not quite sure how to handle Angel's antics. Especially when those antics are literally doing something sweet like bringing him flowers. I also adore how dips into the past like this help highlight details from the present, like Davey's character growth, and just how attracted they have always been to eachother. Would love more chances to look into the past (the elephant in the room being how in the fuck did the empowered talk go?? But also little things with other pack members.. like David told Angel about being empowered before their first anniversary; did he discuss that with Ash as his Beta and best friend first? He must have! Was Ash elated? Worried? Enquiring minds need to know!) But I understand that the present day storylines take precedent! I shall take whatever Davey crumbs are sprinkled our way and eat them down with love.

It's so nice to see Davids more playful side making an appearance. And Angel bringing him flowers is also such a nice touch. Them spending their first Valentines at Davids place with him making dinner shows how well their relationship worked even early on. There wasn't a need to impress each other, no trying to make things extra special. I think it's a sign of a healthy relationship to be happy with ordinary situations and making them special because they are spend with the person you love.
