Pleng is one of my favorite characters in all of Planoy's books and I felt like the show didn't do her character justice. Props to you for picking up on the nuances of her character despite how she was presented in the show.

Agree with you on so many levels, however, I personally think that Wan always knew she's still in love with Pleng for all those years. And the scene where she looked disappointed & went upstair to take a shower was because she realised that Pleng was not take her words seriously.
